Touching visitors
The "green journey" is presented in four narrative strands. In the idle mode, four projected buttons appear on the wall graphic. When these are touched, sensors hidden behind them activate the corresponding animations and the wall comes to life: trees made of light complement the printed tree to form a small forest, a projected train guides the viewer through various themed areas of the wall graphic and a gondola takes them to a mountain peak.
All sequences were individually animated and staged according to Expopartner's storyboards.
In addition to the information provided by the static wall graphics, the projection creates a second, dynamic level of information transfer. The linear narrative form of the animations allows the information to be presented sequentially, making even more complex topics easy to grasp and understand.
A sustainable approach
The theme of sustainability is, of course, also reflected in the exhibition stand itself. The Expopartner agency defines three goals as guidelines: economy, ecology and social issues, which should be reflected here. For this reason, sustainability aspects in all three dimensions were taken into account and integrated right from the design stage. By using special short-throw projectors, the digital presentation could be perfectly realised even with a stand depth of just 150 cm.
